Initial Consultation

All patients require an examination and consultation with the surgeon on their first visit to discuss the diagnosis and treatment options.  Occassionally, surgery can be done the same day as the consultation.  However, a complex medical history may require treatment to be scheduled on another day.

 Please bring with you on your first visit:

• the referral slip from your dentist
• recent x-rays
• a list of the medications you are presently taking
• your health card or driver's license
• if you have private dental insurance coverage, your insurance information

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

Financial Policy

We strive to deliver the finest care at a reasonable cost to our patients, therefore all fees are due and payable in full by the patient or parent/guardian at the time services are rendered.  

After your initial consultation with the doctor, you will be provided with an estimate for the treatment fees.  If you have private dental insurance coverage, we would be happy to submit the claim electronically on your behalf to your insurance company provided it is possible through your insurance carrier.  This will expedite your reimbursement. Otherwise, a dental manual claim form will be provided to you for you to submit to your insurance company. 

It is the patient's responsibility to check their insurance coverage prior to their surgery appointment.

Patients are fully responsible for all fees charged, regardless of their insurance coverage.  

For your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard and Debit (interact)or cash.  We DO NOT accept personal cheques.
